Take Control: Time Properties
Computers keep time. Many, many functions use the date
and time in a computer. My email displays what time a message was sent
or received. My Antivirus program checks for new virus definitions every
morning. So, how does my computer in Detroit know what time it is? If I
ship my computer to San Francisco, how would I adjust for the new time
zone?
Go to Start and click on Control Panel.
You should see Clock, Language and Region When you click on the icon you will be
offered a
couple of choices.
Look for Date and Time and click on the link.
