Before You Begin

This discussion begins by creating a sample spreadsheet that combines all of the dates and product sales forecast from three different spreadsheets. This lesson introduces a common copy/paste error, and methods for correcting it.

Try it: Create a Sample Spreadsheet

Open the spreadsheet you created in Eggs, Legs, and Pigs in a Basket.

Go to the Legs spreadsheet.
Copy the rows for February and March.
Go to a new spreadsheet.

Select cell A1. and Paste the rows.

Go to the Pigs spreadsheet.

Copy the rows for February and March.

Paste them in the new spreadsheet in the next row after the Legs data.

Keep going...

You can use the sample spreadsheet  or enter your own data if you wish.
