Add a Level

Microsoft Excel can use more than one criteria for sorting the data.

 

Try it: Create a Custom Sort

Select the entire spreadsheet.

Go to Home ->Sort and Filter.

Select: Custom Sort.

First row Sort by: Date.

Click Add Level to get another row.

Now, go to Then by: Product.

 

You can sort on the Values, or the conditional formatting (say, the color or the icon).

Home -> Sort and Filter -> Custom Sort
