Filter the Data

There's too much data-too many rows of information. This is just inyourface noise. A Filter is a simple method for analyzing your data. Filters use the labels in the Header Row to show or hide the rows of data.

 

Try it: Filter the Data

Make a copy of the Original Data worksheet. Rename it 2007 Sales Filtered.

 

Select the entire spreadsheet

Go to the Data tab

Click on Filter

 

You can use the sample spreadsheet  or enter your own data if you wish.
