Use Tracking Balloons

 In the previous example, the document was displayed as Final Showing Markup.

Here is a different view of the tracking.

 

Try it: Use Tracking Balloons

Go to Review -> Tracking.

Turn off the Reviewing Pane.

Select Balloons.

 

What Do You See? When you click on Show Revisions in Balloons you should see a new, grey margin on the right side of your document.

 

The example on this page shows that new text was inserted.
