Format the Text Box

The Text Box, itself, can be formatted. PowerPoint has an impressive set of Drawing tools on the Home menu.

 

Before You Begin: Select the Text Box. This is a bit tricky because you have to look carefully at what is selected. When you type in a Text Box, you should see the cursor. The Text Box also has a border. Click on the border.

 

Try This: Format the Text Box

Go to Home ->Drawing.

Select: Shape Fill.

 

 

What Do You See? The Shape Fill options include solid colors, tints, as well as gradients.
