Format the Text Box

Say you wanted to display the web page address on the slide. Try this:

Go to Insert ->Text box.

Type: http://steuben.com

Did you ever notice that the color of a hyperlink indicates the status? Blue means you haven't clicked on the link. Purple means you've already seen that web page.

In this presentation the default colors for the hyperlink make it difficult to see on the black background. A text box uses the same tools as a Shape. Take these steps to format the text box.

Try it: Edit the Shape

Select the text box with the hyperlink.

Go to Home ->Shape Fill. Pick a bright color from the palette.

Go to Shape Outline ->No Outline.

This will remove the border around the text box.

Home -> Shape Outline
