Password Protect the File You can protect your document with a password. A strong password includes letters and numbers. It should not be your name.   Try it: Encrypt the Document Go to Office ->Prepare. Select Encrypt Document. Type a Password.   Memo to Self: Security is a genuine concern. Hence, there is no "undo" if you forget your password. There is no number at Microsoft that you can call up and remove the password. If it were that easy, there wouldn't be any security, hmmm?   Please write down your passwords! Office ->Prepare -> Encrypt Document
