Remote Desktop
Connection
A Remote Desktop Connection is a
Host/Client relationship between two computers. The Host,
usually a computer at work, allows a Client, hopefully you
working at home, to connect. The advantage of the connection is
getting access to the resources on the Host computer.
The Process:
Windows Remote Desktop
1. Enable Remote Desktop
2. Select Users
3. Make a Connection
The following demonstrations require two
computers. The steps are illustrated in case you do not have these
options.
Memo to Self:
A Remote Desktop Connection is a network log on that you
might use every day at work. Whereas, Remote Assistance is an
invitation for someone to fix your computer..
