The Format Painter

What Do You See? The text that you copied and pasted was automatically formatted to match the slide you pasted into. Say you wanted the text to match the headline. Try the Format Painter.

Try it: Select the headline

This is like dipping your brush into the formatting paint. It copies size, font, color and alignment.

Go to Home -> Format Painter

You should see a little paintbrush on your mouse.

Use the Format Painter to highlight the text in the bulleted list. Now, the list should match the headline.

Very good. This is one more tool you might find useful as you combine different presentations.
