Filter the Data in a Table

A filter hides the rows that you do not want to use. The filters on this page are Text Filters: the results are based on words, not numbers.

 

Try It: Filter the Records

Select the Rating column.

Go to Home ->Filter.

Now, go Home-> Selection.

 

What do you see? The Filter Selection lets you choose:

Equals

Does Not Equal

Contains

Does Not Contain

 

Try This: Clear the filter

Any field that has a filter applied to it has a small funnel icon. How do you remove a filter? Click on the filter and select Clear filter.
