Enforce Referential Integrity

In this example, tblMovieRented is joined to tblCustomers.

 

CustomerID is the Primary Key in tblCustomers. CustomerID is the Foreign Key in tblMovieRented.

 

Enforce Referential Integrity

The goal of Referential Integrity is to prevent "widows and orphans." Referential Integrity determines if both keys are listed in the tables. If you deleted CustomerID #5 from the customer table how could you lookup who bought what in tblMovieRented?
