The Expression Builder

The Logical function has these arguments:

=IIf(expr, truepart, falsepart)

 

The Expression Builder is a simple tool for selecting the fields in the Tables, Queries, Forms and Reports.

 

Try It: Create a Calculated Control

Go to Forms ->Loaded Forms.

Loaded Forms means that the form is open. Select: [Year] on the MovieTitle Split form.

 

The logical test: [Year] <2000

Value if True: "Free Rental"

Value if False: "New Release"

 

The complete expression is:

=IIf([Year]<2000,"Free Rental","New Release")
