Microsoft Access 2007 is a different file format that Access 2002-2003 or 2000. Some companies are slow to adopt new software. The older software simply cannot open the new Access 2007 databases.

You can save the database to a pervious version. This is a cost effect way to work together, even if you don't all have the same software.

Try It: Save In Another Format

Go to Office-> Save As.
