Import from Excel

External Data can mean importing a spreadsheet or a table. It can also mean linking to an outside source. Here are the steps to import a spreadsheet from Excel.

 

Try it: Import from Excel

Go to External Data->Import->Excel

Select Import into new table and walk through the Wizard:

 

Show Worksheets: MyCalendar

First row contains headings: yes

Field Options: Do not index any fields.

Primary Key: Let Access assign

Table Name: tblCalendar
