Modify the Table

Memo fields can hold a lot of data. A Memo field can store 2 Gigabytes.

 

Microsoft Access 2007 has two new Memo field properties: Text Format and Append Only.

 

Try it: Add a Memo Field

Enter a new field: Archive.

Data Type: Memo.

Text Format: Rich Text.

Append Only: Yes.

 

By marking the Memo field Append Only, your users can ADD to the data, but not DELETE any previous entries.

 

Selecting "Yes" for the Append option also Tracks the History. You can see the history when you right-click the Memo field in Form View.
