Try It: Calculate the Discount

Select a blank field in the query grid.

Type: Discount:[Price]-1

Where Discount is the alias.

[Price] is the rental fee in tblRental.

and -1 subtracts one dollar from the price.

 

On the Property Sheet, change the Format to Currency, this is money. ;-)
