Group By Totals

1. Total the Field

Return to the Design View.

Go to Query Tools ->Design ->Totals

 

 

When you click the Totals button the Query grid will display a Total row.

The Default choice is Group By.

 

2. Edit the Query

Queries read left-to-right. Move the Rating field to the first column.

 

3. Add Criteria: Is Not Null

This filters out the movies that do NOT have a rating or a genre in the table.

 

Many-to-many results

There are four Genres with a G rating.
