Create a Relationship

There is a benefit to creating an explicit relationship, especially when the Primary Key does not match.

In the sample database, the Primary key for tblMovieTitles is simply ID.

The unique integer that identifies each Movie is the Foreign key, not the Primary Key, for tblMovieRented. It is named MovieID in tblMovieRented.

3. Create a Join between tables

Select MovieID from tblMovieRented

Drag MovieID onto ID in tblMovieTitles.
