Proofing Options The Proofing options are found by going to Office and selecting Word Options from the bottom of the menu. Go a little further and review the following.   AutoCorrect ignores words with: UPPERCASE, numbers, Internet addresses.   AutoCorrect underlines common mistakes: Repeated words, capitalization, grammar.   AutoText can also be a productivity tool. Say you worked for the Livingston Regional MTEC. This name is a mouthful, especially if you are required to type it many times in each customer support letter.   You can add a phrase to AutoText and have Microsoft Office spell it out for you automatically.
