Back up Computer System Restore is a method to Undo changes to Windows without disturbing your documents or personal data. System Restore makes a back up for the Windows Registry, and all of your program settings. The process begins by creating a Restore Point- a backup copy of the Registry settings. This does NOT restore your documents, pictures or music. Try This: Create a Restore Point Log in as an Administrator. Go to Start-> Control Panel. Find System and Maintenance. Click on Back up your computer. Windows will request an Administrator's User Name and Password. You may be prompted to review the automatic settings.
