Unpin a Program

If you can do it, you should also be able to undo it. Say you wanted to Unpin an item form the Start menu. Here are the steps you can take.

Try it: Unpin from Start Menu

Go to Start.

Right click the pinned program.

Select: Unpin from Start Menu.

Memo to Self: Items on the Start menu are just pointers to the real program--little road signs that aim in the right place.

When you Pin, Unpin or Remove anything from the Start you are NOT deleting the application or the file.
