Minimize the Ribbon You can customize what you see in Microsoft Excel, too. At the top of the screen, next to the Office logo, is the Quick Access Toolbar. Here you will find some options, such as how to hide and unhide (minimize) the Ribbon.    Try This: Minimize the Ribbon Click the arrow on the Quick Access Toolbar. By Default, the Quick Access toolbar has Save, Undo and Redo. If you wish, you can add the other functions that you always use. Select: Minimize the Ribbon.   What Do You See? The minimized Ribbon is similar to the menus in the earlier versions of Microsoft Excel.
