Show Hidden Files

Security by stealth is one way to protect your documents and folders. If you go to the Properties, you can mark a file or folder Hidden.

 

Try This: Create a Hidden File

Go to the Documents folder.

Select a sample document.

Go to Organize -> Properties.

Select: Hidden.

 

Try This, Too: Show Hidden Files

Go to the Documents folder.

Go to Organize ->Folder Options.

Select the View tab.

 

You can choose to Show hidden files and folders if you wish.
