Reconnect at Logon

When you Map a Network Drive you can choose a letter to identify the drives. Windows reserves the beginning of the alphabet for floppy drives (A:\) hard drives (C:\), CDs and removable drives.

A Mapped Drive is a virtual drive. Most Administrators begin at the end of the alphabet: W for work, U for User, and so forth.

Memo to Self: Make sure there is a check mark for Reconnect at logon.

The mapped drive will look like a hard drive with a network connection.
