Timed Out Suppose the lights on the network card are on. Suppose further that the PING test of the Loop back works correctly. What if you still can't see any other computers on the network. In fact, if you PING another computer's IP address, you may get Request Timed Out.   You may close the window now. Please go to the next section,  TechTalk, to learn how Windows talks to the network.
