It's difficult
to tell the bad guys from the good guys. Sometimes a good program is
accidentally blacklisted by Windows Defender. Windows Defenders places
all of the black listed programs into Quarantine. Here are the
steps you can take to unblock that program. Try This:
Review the Quarantined Items Go to the
Windows Defender. Go to Tools
->Quarantined items. There may be a
list of programs in the Quarantine. You can select an item then go to
Remove or Restore. Some of the
software in the Quarantine may have a high alert. If you allow such a
program to run you may put your privacy and security at risk. Try This:
Review Allowed Items There may be a
list of programs that you have allowed, or white listed. Windows
Defender does not monitor these programs.
