Sort by Paragraphs

A simple list sorts the way you expect: alphabetical, A-Z or vice versa. What happens if you sort a list that has sub items?

Try This: Change the Paragraph

Enter the sample text:

Product, Category, In Stock
1) Apples, Fruit, 12
2) Bananas, Fruit, 13
3) Kiwi, Fruit, 10
4) Tomatoes, Fruit, 10
  a) Roma
  b) Better Boy
5) Peppers, Veggie, 50

Use the bullets and numbering options to format this list as an outline.

Select the sample list.

Go to Home ->Paragraph ->Sort.

The results may come out scrambled.

Home -> Paragraph ->Sort
