Take It With You Most people pull the memory stick or USB cable out and off they go. Windows Vista actually has a program that safely parks your device and makes it ready to remove.   Try This: Safely Remove a Memory Stick Insert a memory stick into a USB slot. Look by the system clock in the bottom right corner of the Task Bar.   What Do You See? There should be a small picture of a memory stick with a green check mark. When you run your mouse over the program, should might see the name of the drive and the option to safely remove it. Well...that’s all from the Sandbox, where only the latest and greatest survive!
