Data Archives

Outlook lets you Archive old E-mails, Meetings and completed Tasks.

 

The archives will be saved to a Personal Folder (Archive.pst file) that you can save on your hard drive, a memory stick, or burn on a CD.

 

The benefit of AutoArchive is that Outlook will remove the old messages for safe keeping, maintaining a minimum set in your Outlook data file.

 

AutoArchive is also one way to move items from the corporate Exchange Server stores to a personal file, perhaps an Archive.pst.
