Match the Names 3. Map Custom Fields When you import an address list from another program, you should review the field names and see if they match the default labels in a Contact folder.   For example, the default field name is "Last Name" with a space between the words. In the illustration on this page, the field name in Excel is spelled without a space: LastName.   Map Custom Fields You can drag and drop the field name from the Excel spreadsheet on the left onto the one that fits on the right.
