On the Performance tab, you can track the rise and fall in the demand for the CPU Usage. The CPU maxes out when a program launches, then idles at only 3-4% usage.   Now, look at the Physical Memory. This computer has a gigabyte or RAM, however it looks like it uses 637 MB on the average.
