Hello, Computer?

How do you connect all of the computers in your home or office? A network is a complex set of interactions. It is a "seven-layer" architecture with the hardware at the bottom, and network protocols and security in the middle. Windows Vista has several tools in the Control Panel to manage the network. This chapter looks at testing the connections.

Here’s a Local Area Network (LAN).  The Windows Network displays all of the computers in my area. I can see four computers including my own machine, TeacherV2.
